On 22-Mar-2018 PMI Armenia Chapter has organized a seminar at the BURO. The title of the seminar was "Megaprojects - easy to begin and expensive to stop" presented by Vahagn Voskanyan, MSc in Major Programme Management from Said Business School, University of Oxford
The aim of the monthly seminar program is to share project management experiences between different domains and companies. Moreover it provides a great opportunity for the Armenian professionals to network and interact with each other.
During the seminar presented the generally accepted definition of megaprojects, highlighted several megaprojects from different countries which ended up with cost overruns and finally the focus was on the megaprojects in Armenia. It was extremely interesting to get to know why megaprojects fail and the lessons learned.
At the end of the presentation there was a mini reception during which cakes and juices were offered by the host BURO.
